First music workshop for pupils from schools in Cetinje was held at the National Library of Montenegro “Đurđe Crnojević” in Cetinje yesterday.
This project was designed by professor of French Tatjana Zeković and violin teacher Tanja Ševaljević-Bogdanović with the aim of popularizing classical music, jazz and blues.
At the yesterday’s workshop, pupils were presented with some musical compositions, accompanied by anecdotes about their creators. It is interesting, according to Ms. Zeković, that after workshops a quiz of knowledge is planned, which will involve the best students with the knowledge they gained during these workshops.
“The quiz was conceived through playing music tracks with the demand for quick reaction of participants, grouped with one team for each school, whereby they announce the name of the composer and an appropriate anecdote related to its creation”, explained Zeković.
