The first international accordion festival “Harmonika fest” was held from 1st to 3rd October 2010 at the Central National Library “Djurdje Crnojevic”, organised by the Ministry of Culture, the Historic Royal Capital Cetinje and the CNL “Djurdje Crnojevic”. This festival is a professional event promoting accordionists of all profiles and cherishing the artistic accordion performance, the primary goal being to exchange knowledge, practice and experience, and familiarise with the domestic and international trends in contemporary concert and pedagogical accordion practice.
The renowned artists from Montenegro, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Italy performed at the event.
The first night featured the concert of Vladimir Murza from Ukraine, renowned worldwide for his pedagogical and performance gift. The second night was the duet night, featuring Miran Begic and Bojan Martinovic, Montenegro, and Amadej Hercog (Slovenia) and Stjepan Hauser (Croatia). The third, final night, was marked by the concert of Petar Matic, Serbia, and Renzo Ruggeri, Italy.
Apart from the concert performances, the festival also featured several master workshops.
